Verification Standards
"100CK Verified" is a specific, limited claim. This page explains exactly what it means so nobody — a visitor or a business owner — is misled about what the badge does and doesn't represent.
What Verified means
A Verified listing has had its basic information — name, address or service area, phone number, and website — reviewed against a public source (typically the business's own website, a government or professional registry, or direct confirmation from the owner) and confirmed to be current as of the verified date shown on the profile.
What Verified does not mean
- It is not a quality rating, a review, or a recommendation.
- It is not a licensing or credential check unless the profile explicitly states which credential was confirmed and how.
- It cannot be purchased. Sponsored placement and Verified status are completely separate — see our advertising disclosure.
- It does not guarantee the business's work, pricing, or conduct — it only reflects that the listed contact information was accurate as of the date shown.
Re-verification
We aim to review Verified listings at least once a year and whenever a correction is reported. If a listing hasn't been reviewed within the last twelve months, we treat it as due for re-verification rather than assuming it's still accurate.
Where verification currently stands
We are actively working through the directory to review and verify listings. A listing without the Verified badge simply hasn't been reviewed yet — it is not a negative signal about that business.
Report an issue
If you believe a Verified listing is inaccurate, please submit a correction — we take reports against Verified listings seriously and review them promptly.
