100CK is a directory of businesses, professionals, and organizations in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. This page explains how we make editorial decisions and how those decisions relate to money — because a directory that isn't clear about that distinction isn't trustworthy.

Three separate statuses
Every listing on 100CK has one of three statuses, and they are never mixed together:
- Listed — the business appears in the directory. This does not require payment and does not imply editorial endorsement.
- 100CK Verified — we have reviewed the listing's basic information for accuracy. See our verification standards.
- Sponsored — the business has paid for placement in a clearly labelled advertising section. See our advertising disclosure.
Paid placement never buys editorial outcomes
Sponsored placement is advertising. It does not grant Verified status, does not influence editorial selection or the order of organic search results, does not confer a "best" or recommended status, and does not affect how a business is described in its profile or in any guide. Sponsored listings are shown in a separate, labelled section, capped at three per category or community, above organic results.

Corrections
If something on 100CK is wrong, we want to fix it. See our corrections page to submit a correction or report inaccurate information.
Conflicts of interest
100CK does not accept payment in exchange for a favourable description, a higher search position among organic results, or Verified status. If we ever have a personal or financial relationship with a listed business beyond standard advertising, we will disclose it on that business's profile.
